Do you offer 20 hours ECE subsidy?
Yes, When your child turns 3, we offer the 20 hour ECE subsidy. You can claim up to 6 hours per day, up to 20
hours per week.
To claim your 20 hour ECE subsidy, you will be given a form to confirm and sign from the day your
child turns 3 years of age.
What session times do you offer for 3 and 4 year olds?
At Whitford Early Learning Centre our 3 year old session hours are as follows:
Our Kindergarten session starts at 8:30 until 3:30pm with a minimum attendance of 2 days per week.
Our Pukeko Room session times are 8:30 until 3:30pm with a minimum attendance of 2 days per week.
Before and After Care?
Before Care is available from 7:30am until 8:30am and Aftercare is available from 3:30pm until 5:30pm.
What hours is Whitford Early Learning Centre open?
Whitford Early Learning Centre is open from 7:30am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Do you close for the school holidays?
No, Whitford Early Learning Centre is open all year, apart from Statutary Holidays and sometimes one or two days around Christmas. We always give plenty of notice regarding our Christmas / New Year opening hours.
What are your hours for children under 3?
For children under 3, they are required to do a minimum of 2 x 6hr days. You can bring your children at times to suit you as we have flexible options available.
